Rachelle Deguzman
Rachelle Deguzman (she/her) is the youngest daughter of immigrants from Pangasinan, Philippines, and a proud FLI graduate of UC Berkeley, where she studied Legal Studies, Public Policy, and Global Poverty. Her undergraduate career was shaped by her involvement as a student leader and organizer in Pilipinx and multicultural coalitions. This activism remains a guiding force in her work today.
Because of the love, support, and community care she received, Rachelle most recently graduated with her Master’s of Education in Education Leadership, Organizations, and Entrepreneurship (with a concentration in Higher Education) from Harvard. As an educator, Rachelle is dedicated to ensuring historically marginalized communities not only find belonging, meaning, and purpose but also feel empowered to shape institutions that were not originally built with them in mind.
With experience spanning college access, multicultural affairs, and student transition programs, Rachelle remains deeply committed to educational justice.
